“Purpose, question?”
Rocky, please. I’m trying to spare you right now.
Basically, Grace gets exposed to a dangerous amount of radiation during an EVA and doesn't want to tell Rocky bc of what happened to Rocky's crew <3
THIS IS A REWORKED VERSION OF "TEMPEST" - after some comments, I wanted to keep the soul of the story, but make it more scientifically plausible. While there are still probably some inaccuracies, I still hope this isn't as messy as before.

Summary
Vessel's fingers traced two small, distinct puncture wounds, his touch gentle, almost reverent. Before Ivy’s very eyes, they closed over, skin knitting together, leaving no trace but for the slight stain of the blood on his pale skin.
There was a moment of panic, of sheer, bone-cracking terror. Ivy’s breath hitched, his brain struggling to process the monster who had opened his flesh and fed from his blood. He felt hot tears fill his eyes, yet his body was unable to move.
Vessel’s eyes softened as he took in Ivy’s trembling lips, reddened from his own teeth. “Oh, my pet, none of that,” he murmured, gently pulling Ivy’s lip away from his teeth. “Your turn is coming. And soon. I’m finding it… increasingly difficult to let you out of my sight."
OR
Ivy goes to therapy and finds himself the pet of three very attractive, very hungry vampires.
