basically, they're kinda emotionally awkward but end up getting closer. it's not some big, dramatic thing; it's more like, "hey, we're both dealing with crazy stuff, maybe we should, like, not be alone?" they're all about their demon-slaying duties, so figuring out how to be... whatever they are... is a bit of a mess. basically, they're learning to lean on each other without making a huge deal out of it, even when they probably should.
also giyuu has children that's kinda the whole premise of this fic
