The lecture Shen Jiu has the pleasure of delivering reaches a volume that kick-starts the migration of every bird on the mountain.
He only has the pleasure of yelling for an incense stick before he remembers that this story, in all probability, gets worse. “What. Else. Happened.” He says through gritted teeth, sitting down in a graceful billow of robes.

“Yeah, but you weren’t,” Anakin says, moving closer to Kenobi. “Your Master is one of the most skilled in the entire order, you’re on the path to Knighthood already, and you still can’t stop bitching about what you don’t have.”
Kenobi scoffs but doesn’t seem to have a counter argument. Instead, he turns on his heel, ready to walk away, but Anakin isn’t done just yet. He reaches out and manages to snag the back of Kenobi’s collar, and he tugs, trying to pull Kenobi back.
Again, he underestimates Kenobi’s footwork, because he’s firm on his feet, and all that Anakin manages to do it pull the cloth down Kenobi’s shoulder.
That’s when he sees it.

Their missions were never easy when Anakin always went out of his way to make them as difficult as possible. Giving food to a town on the outer rim that was going through a famine? Not that easy because his Master would inevitably sniff out a secret human trafficking ring that they had to dismantle, nearly getting Obi-Wan taken and then the planet set on fire with Anakin’s rage. A diplomatic mission on Naboo with his Master’s favorite Senator? Not just that as Anakin nearly cut off the head of a politician that got too handsy with Obi-Wan when they were just dancing.
The amount of times that Anakin nearly started a war because someone looked at Obi-Wan a little too long…

Harry’s eyes crossed as Voldemort reached out to him, pressing his talon to the scar as though he had no idea what it was or what it meant. Harry braced himself for the inevitable, but strangely, the touch didn't hurt.
“What a princely boon you have been given, and quite the story behind it as well, I just know it.”
Voldemort smiled down at Harry, and seemed to wait for a moment, as though he expected some sort of delighted response like the bloody snake’s. Except then his gaze faltered, and his eyes flicked around with more purpose, taking in for the first time the filthy gag in his mouth, the blood still dripping from his arm and leg, and the way the scythe pressed so firmly against his neck.
“No, no, no, that isn’t right at all,” he muttered to himself, flicking his hand, still wand-less, in a series of impatient gestures that banished first the gag, then the statue, and finally the torn, bloody mess that were once his robes.

One part not-canon!Voldemort popped into canon!Harry's world during the graveyard scene, one part dadmort who has literally no concept of interpersonal boundaries, and one part me really, really wanting to write about what a hemipenis looks like in the wild.

Luffy looks again at the bitemarks that he left on Zoro’s wrist. Zoro’s usually hurt, one way or another. Sometimes it’s definitely been Luffy’s fault too, but the bitemarks feel different. They ain’t like normal bruises or cuts. There’s something about seeing the shape of his teeth in Zoro’s skin. Something about the colors, the slightly paler insides of Zoro’s wrists, and the blueness of his veins, and the dark pink color of where Luffy bit him.
