They're both in their 30s and still don't know how to be normal around each other, so they get drunk and kiss behind a bar, because that's probably easier than being vulnerable, ever.

Summary
After having his leg broken by Kamoshida, instead of rebelling, Ryuji chooses to isolate himself, in an attempt to avoid being hurt again. Meanwhile, Yusuke, unable to keep painting after years of abuse in Madarame’s hands, tries to change his personality in order to fit in and become worthy of being loved.
As the two of them grow closer and open up to each other, they also begin to recover those parts of themselves that they had judged long gone.

Summary
It would be nice, having a friend. A shoulder to cry on, an anchor to steady you. Yusuke desperately wanted a friend, but they hardly deserved such luxuries. Anyone who answered the call for a hit without hesitation was incapable of understanding concepts like love and friendship. Yusuke made peace with the fact that, when choosing to enact their revenge, they’d traded any semblance of normalcy for a sharper blade, a gun with more ammo, and a second, darker mask to wear atop their old one.
Yusuke wasn’t fit to play the role of the unlikely ally, but they could fake it anyway. They were bold, brash, bitter—not to mention a terrible actor—but they could try, under the pretense that the end was right around the corner. Sakamoto just had to get used to a girl who wasn’t used to… this. The feelings weren’t genuine, no, but perhaps it could be fun, or at the very least tolerable, while it lasted.
And it wouldn’t last.

When Yusuke finally meets Ryuji, not only does he agree with Ann's suspicions, but also starts to notice some similarities between what Ryuji seems to be going through with his adoptive father, Kamoshida, and what Yusuke and his mother suffered at the hands of Madarame.

By now, Ryuji is used to early morning texts from Yusuke, usually related to art or hanging out that day. This time, however, he’s been asked to come over “as soon as humanly possible” without any other explanation. Something in Ryuji’s chest tightens when he realizes that if this were an actual emergency, Yusuke would have contacted the other Phantom Thieves and their group chat would be blowing up. But no, here Yusuke is, messaging specifically Ryuji.
He heads over without a second thought, hopping out the door while still putting his shoes on.

A writing piece made for Festival of Stars: A Persona Charity Fanzine—thanks for helping the project raise $525 for Make-A-Wish!
Four months after Ren’s departure from Shibuya, Ryuji is now in a loving relationship with Yusuke, and are moving out together with Ryuji's mother. Inspired by his new hobby for live streaming video games (in his spare time as an amateur), and Yusuke’s solemn train ride conversation with a grieving father, Ryuji gives his boyfriend a warming surprise: with the help of their fellow former Phantom Thieves, they organize a charity stream to raise funds for an acclaimed non-profit organization that grants wishes to children with life-threatening conditions. With a goal to pay some good will forward, this is a charity stream that might just surpass the "crazy" ¥100,000,000 goal.
Ryuji didn't think he'd get so far, but every bit counts to fulfill the innocent dreams of others—and to put him in that sexy Halloween costume he hates.
(This work is split into two "chapters." The first is the actual work, published in the fanzine. The second is an annotated version of the piece's rough outline, some details having been cut in drafting to adhere to word counts and general pacing.)

Aki doesn’t seem to find pleasure in smoking. Doesn’t seem to be an addict waiting for his next hit. Out there on the balcony, the faint glow of the cigarette illuminating his fingertips, he instead looks like a man in atonement. For what, Angel isn’t sure. Aki has always been what most humans would call a good man.
Angel steps outside. Aki glances at him.
“You always look so miserable out here,” Angel says.
“Do I?” Aki’s voice is soft, like speaking too loud would interrupt the low drone of insects singing under the stars.
Angel shrugs. “More than you normally do, anyway.”
Aki exhales through his nose like a muted laugh. “Didn’t realize you paid that close of attention.”
“I don’t.” A lie.
Aki stares at him for a moment. Takes a slow drag. “I’m not miserable,” he says quietly. “I just…” he trails off.
Angel waits. The insects sing. Aki sighs.
“Do you ever think that maybe you’re just… not meant for the things you want?”--------
In the months leading up to Aki's death, the Angel Devil unexpectedly moves into his apartment.

Summary
Butterflies, in many cultures, signified renewal; rebirth. The caterpillar emerges from its chrysalis somehow equipped with the knowledge of what it is and what its purpose will be. Yusuke never felt like a butterfly. Change had occurred, but not to the point where they could confidently approach the mirror without seeing a chrysalis still hugging their waist. They’d done everything they thought would bring them peace, and there it remained.
Maybe it was a mistake emerging at all. Even if it hurt, it might just hurt… less, when they no longer had to worry about anyone noticing their shell was half-broken.
...
Yusuke loves their hair. They also want all of it gone.

When he had told Makima that the Angel Devil's powers would be a hindrance, he wasn't lying. While he appreciated Angel's presence at times, he himself was terrified of acting with his stomach, with the weak knees he can't explain the reason behind. To reach out and touch, bare, was an inexplicable problem.
Aki had gotten a taste of what it was like, and was left a starving man. He seemed to love being hungry, ergo, the feeling of wanting things until he's had his fill.
To get his fill meant death.
