Everyone thought he died but on his funeral, Izuku just woke up nonchalantly . Even stranger, he woke up with an undead related quirk which he named "Onryo or Vengeful Spirit". Inko tried to persuade him not to choose that name to no avail.
Oh, he also managed to adopt some siblings along the way.PS: I'm suck at summary and Izuku is a troll who loves using his ghostly quirk to get his point across.

They had barely gotten him back, only for him to be whisked away again and out of their sight. The doors that the doctors tending to him had disappeared behind stood hauntingly still, relentlessly mocking them. No one had come through in hours now. The only reason none of them had stormed through and taken over the operating room where their friend was (yet), was because Recovery Girl had disappeared with them, promising to keep a watchful eye on him (and the doctors).
Everyone tensed as the doors creaked loudly in the deadly silent waiting room. A doctor with snake-like eyes stepped through, her face seemingly void of emotion except for the hint of weariness shadowing her face for the briefest of moments. The second her yellow and black eyes met everyone else's, she schooled her features and stepped forwards.

Oh, and the two guys that used to be brainwashed villains.

Izuku's life was far from fair.
When he was a child, his father was abusive, and even after he left, his mother was neglectful. He was a vigilante at the age of six, using his technology-type quirk to gather information and send it off to Pro Heroes and police. Not even a year after beginning his illegal career, he was labeled X, the best information broker in all of Japan.
Now, Izuku was finally nearing his dream: to help people, though this time it would be legally. He and his friend, Katsuki, would join U.A. so they could help people. Getting a license to legally use their quirks would be a bonus.
Of course, that would be so much easier if Izuku's homeroom teacher wasn't the number one hero searching for his vigilante persona. Or if Izuku's computerized brain didn't see people his own age as children and older people as attractive.
