Summary
After the video is released, Wilhelm and Simon break up, leaving them both secretly longing for each other's touch and hurting in silence. Some new changes at Hillerska include that most non-boarders are forced to now enroll with boarding at Hillis. Luckily - Simon and Wille share a room. Wille is fighting a steep battle with self harm and only beginning to heal from deep-rooted child trauma, and Simon is also struggling with demons from his past. Seeing Wille fighting an addiction uncovers sensitive memories from his childhood. They both help heal each other and find themselves.

Summary
Wilhelm Löwen walks in, and Simon’s heart stops.
Simon may have had a crush on Wilhelm when the show first started airing, is the thing. As in, he followed @WilhelmLowenBase for several years after the actor left the Disney sitcom he starred in to do Dark Knights instead, and may or may not have had a poster on his wall. Or three.
Knowing that his silent prayer to not make his cheekbones flushed is going unanswered, Simon nods at each of them in turn. “Hi, everyone,” he says, and he thinks his voice sounds even enough. “I’m Simon. It’s great to meet you all.”Or: two years after Wilhelm disappoints his acting family by quitting his starring role on the critically acclaimed teen soap 'Dark Knights', his replacement has more than a few unkind things to say about him in the press. When he returns to the show for the final season, the showrunners decide there's only one way to avoid the media storm of their feud... to pretend it doesn't exist, because Wilhelm and Simon are actually friends. "Simon hated the ride back home that morning. He hated himself for breaking up with Wille. The sun shined beautifully on the countryside near Bjärstad, if it was any other day he would have loved it. He usually hated the cold and muggy weather Sweden had to offer, he much more preferred waking up with the sun caressing his face, ready to go to the beach. But now he hated everything that surrounded him. Everything that didn’t have short blond hair and strong cheekbones."

Simon regrets what he has done. Wilhelm doesn't answer his phone. That is why Simon decides to write about their love, in order to keep remembering. And to get Wille back.

It wasn’t exactly like Wilhelm had planned to come out on national television, before the prying eyes of the entire country.
If anything at all, he wished he’d thought it through a tad more. He was used to acting on impulse and having to pick up the pieces, sure. But there was a difference even between snapping at his mother, though royalty as she was, and announcing to the whole of Sweden that their Crown Prince had, in fact, not only been caught having sex, but most of all, having sex with a boy.
