Tim throws back his drink and ignores everyone who tries to pick him up now that he’s alone. Stalks back to their apartment like it’s a goddamn walk of shame, fingernails digging crescents into his palms.
He’s being immature about it, Tim knows; just because someone had snubbed him to take Jason home doesn’t mean he has to be a dick about it, and—Tim should be happy for him, in fact.
Tim should be happy that someone is interested in Jason. That he won’t be lonely any longer. That, right this moment, someone probably has their arms wrapped around his back, has their tongue shoved down his throat, has his body right under their fingertips.
If Tim can have a date over for movie night, then Jason should be allowed to bring one, too.
Aka the one where Tim sets Jason up with a bunch of folks and then—surprise!—catches feelings.

It’s like Christmas has come three weeks early. For the first time since coming up with this half-hatched plan, Jason isn't stuck on worrying whether it'll work—he's thinking about how much fun it'll be when the guy he brings home can't stop talking about superheroes. To his superhero family. While his superhero family hides their superhero business right under Tim's non-superhero nose.
Jason fucking loves a good comedy.
