After a mere noncommittally grunt from Jesper, only a comfortable silence was left of the previous conversation. Nothing uncommon between them despite their ironical chatty nature. One of the few enjoyable things Mogens had always brought with him to the weekly annoyment sessions. Jesper sighed as his gaze landed in the falling snow behind the window.
He was trapped.
By the storm in his own post office, by common courtesy with Mogens and by the situation with his own thoughts. None of them being good combined.
Maybe it was the drink, or the revelation that there were people in his circle of acquaintances that didn't have problems admitting it out loud, but suddenly Jesper found himself delving into a box of secrets he hadn't touched in a long time now.

Summary
Just my take on Junkrat growing up after the Omnium was destroyed. This story starts with Jamie as a kid, how he grew up and survived the harsh wastelands of the Outback. From when he met Roadhog to their international crime spree and all the way back to the place that they had first escaped. This story is long and serious with some comedy spread throughout. I'm trying to keep a balance of original ideas and what we know as canon, of course things have changed since I first started this and so this story is always evolving. I estimate it will probably be around 30 chapters, maybe a little smaller. I update as regularly as I can but they are not always consistent.

He yanked the door open, the November air biting instantly at his skin. “Kid?” he said, his voice low and rough. “What the fuck are you doing here?”
Daisuke’s gaze dropped to his shoes, his shoulders slumping as though the weight of his own words threatened to crush him. He shifted uncomfortably, his hands fidgeting at his sides, and for a moment, it seemed like he might not speak at all. When he finally did, his voice was small, hesitant, barely above a whisper.
“Hey, uh, Mr. Swansea,” He swallowed, his words catching in his throat before he forced them out. “I—I didn’t have anywhere else to go.”

Summary
Ratchet, CMO of the Lost Light, has to assemble a medical record for every bot on the ship. One bot in particular is being very stubborn about this.
Each chapter, we see Drift and Ratchet interacting in the present day and Ratchet struggling to cope with Drift's idiosyncrasies. Then we dive in and see how Drift came to be that way through a series of flashbacks. Overall, the story is a story of a fragmented life, lost loves, and seizing happiness wherever you can - juxtaposed against a present day slow-build friendship.
