Summary
Ritsuka Fujimaru is going to work herself to death. Everyone knows it, and everyone's worried, but nobody has a real idea of how bad it is. She shuts herself away for days at a time to train in private, work finding the second singularity is slow going, and Chaldea is slowly being rebuilt in the wake of Lev Lainur's betrayal- but it's holiday season and everyone decides to come together and throw a party. All that's left to complete the celebration is getting Ritsuka to show.

Catra whips around so fast she feels her head spinning. She’s pretty sure a hiss comes out of her mouth. “What?”
“Yeah! Perfuma’s one of her friends, so it’s on the house. We need to be there before dinner to set decorations up. What did she do to you?”
“Nothing.” She’s technically not lying, but it does sound a bit defensive. “We grew apart.”
“Do you… miss her?”

“Maybe that’s a sign that you shouldn’t date,” Catra pointed out, taking her own life into her hands.
Huntara just gave her a condescending laugh. “You’re not exactly knuckle-deep in girls so you don’t get to judge. Has anyone ever even asked you out?”
Yes. Once, at least. It felt ironic to bring that up in this particular conversation so Catra just moved forward.
“But what the shit does this have to do with me then?” Catra asked, desperately wanting to be far away from this conversation and anything to do with the topic of Adora Gray.
“You write good.”
“Well,” Catra corrected in a bit of a daze. She was starting to have a terrible feeling about where this might be going.
“And well,” Huntara repeated, letting the point float completely over her giant mohawked head, “You can write out what I should say to her.”

"No, you just—you touched it." She says gently, eyes darting away in embarrassment.
Adora drops her hand as if she's been burned. She doesn't need her to elaborate further to know what she's stumbled on. The name of whatever lucky girl will get to call Cat hers forever. She bites her lip to keep from asking if she'd ever thought about the name Catra.
Every time Cat tried a new name it felt like it was getting closer and closer—Cassidy, Caitlin, Katherine—and her heart dropped every time Cat tried on another name that wasn't the one embossed on her shoulder.

Catra and Adora have known their soulmate's name since they are sixteen. If only the names matched who they felt they belonged to. Soulmate AU from a trans perspective.

Welcome to Styx City, populated by a mix of humans and bioengineered people developed by Nyx Industries. These new type of humans are known as the Keres. Despite protests and treaties for their freedom, the Keres still live under a closely surveyed rule, seen only as ‘just androids pretending to be real people’. Some Keres choose to accept the life they've been given. Others choose to break free and Disconnect, forming their own identities and becoming Offline Keres, or 'Ghosts'. This is an action punishable by death.
In this city of neon, two people--Catra, a bartender with many secrets, and Adora, an Angel who feels undeserving of her wings--try to survive with their own sets of problems and regrets. The city should've turned them cold, but instead, they find warmth with each other. Their forbidden bond is sometimes the only thing that can keep them going.
And if their bond somehow lasts, it might be what changes Styx City forever.

No matter where she goes, she’ll always find herself in places like the Horde. If there’s anything Catra’s meant for, anything she's worth, it’s this system and the role it bestows on her.
The clones part as she walks by and she has to remind herself that she is not the looming threat that they blindly follow. Yet.
But for now, this is enough.
Just similar enough that she can walk down these endless corridors and hoax herself into believing she’s back within those tarnished green walls, claws scraping as she walks by. In the only home that’s ever come close to wanting her if only to witness the moment that Catra’s body finally wanes into oblivion, following the long-fallen pieces of her that ripped themselves clean from her rotting core.
It is enough.

Summary
Adora, anxious to get a fresh start after the death of her parents and twin brother in a car accident, moves to the small town of Bright Moon. She’s far from happy about it and just wants to forget about her ongoing complications from the accident, graduate, and get out again.
Catra is just as desperate to get out of Bright Moon herself. Stuck in a house with an emotionally abusive mother and keeping a lot of secrets, Catra knows that the only way she’ll ever feel okay is if she gets the hell out. After a string of awkward encounters, both are perfectly fine with keeping a mutual avoidance policy in place.
But then the first body is found, and Catra and Adora are thrown together in grizzly circumstances where one thing is certain.
Nothing will ever be the same again.

“Tom?” Catra said, voice tinged with a hint of disbelief. Adora hadn’t actually been woken up from a dead sleep, but she might as well have been. She had already been up for twenty hours, and her brain liked to stumble around the fifteen hour mark.
