"You fluster me constantly," Hans murmured softly, "Fuck Henry, the way you look at me sometimes. I'm tried of pretending I don't see it. " Henry shivered as Hans nosed his way up his jawline, "Denying to myself what it does to me."
All of the blood in Henry's face went south, distressingly fast, and so did his knees when he realized that down was the only route of escape from between Hans' arms.
Henry is dragged by his lord on a midnight hunt in search of a legendary quarry.
It doesn't go well, and after being separated Henry finds Hans drinking from a mysterious phial he doesn't remember purchasing.

Summary
Dozens of people have touched him this way, from nursemaids to bathhouse girls. Hell, he was manhandled bare-arsed into a tub only moments ago without so much as blinking. There’s no reason for Henry’s touch to feel like this. To make Hans feel like this. But it’s nice, God, it’s nice, Henry’s big blacksmith’s mitts impossibly gentle as he loosens the blood from Hans’s hair.
For the first time since taking that decoction, his heart kicks in his chest, hard enough that his pulse jumps noticeably under his neck.

Henry snorts. “That’s the dumbest thing that’s ever come out of your mouth. And I have a damned long list.” He takes a step forward, eyes liquid in the orange candlelight. “What do you think happens to soldiers in war, my Lord? To the peasants, and the bastards, and the blacksmith’s boys? The ones without blue blood and silver armour?”
“I –” Hans swallows. “I suppose –”
“No one has to worry about them getting ransomed, aye. But that’s because they get fucking killed instead. They get stabbed and gutted. Shot. Beheaded. Hanged.” Henry huffs a breath. Gentles. “I’m sure you’d make a fair corpse, Sir Hans, but I’d rather not test that theory.”Bookmarked by OhTee

After all, Hans was busy charming local lords and he had nothing better to do.
What he didn't expect was that the black knight would catch his lord's attention. Nor that he wouldn't be able to stop himself from responding.
