He thought that it wouldn’t have gone very differently.
After all, how could he have predicted this??!
“A’Yuan,” Luo Binghe (as in LUO BINGHE) purred as he leaned into Shen Yuan’s…well, everything, really. “Would you kindly tell this lord where you’ve been for the past five years?”

Summary
Level 1 bonds, at their core, are practical things. They are incredibly clinical, especially in the MLH. Injected with grade A suppressants to keep the bond controlled, exchanging scents as briefly as was manageable, a quick barely-there shallow bite to the gland on the omega's neck, paperwork filed with the league office after a full day of observations, and suddenly an omega is considered 'safe' to play professional hockey. The omega, now bonded, is considered less likely to 'disrupt team dynamics,' whatever that means.
Shane had been nineteen when Montreal assigned him to Gilbert Comeau.
OR: omegas are only allowed to play professional hockey if they enter into a contracted bond with an alpha on their team. Shane's alpha in Montreal is more than lackluster, but what can he expect? But Shane had told Rozanov they’d be a team, just the two of them, and Rozanov seemed so scared and vulnerable. But Shane had started thinking about what they could do, the two of them on the ice, bonded. He’d had wingers he’d connected to before, who seemed to be able to read his mind. How much more incredible would this be, someone who’d always know where he was, what his intentions were?
