Summary
Not drowning, Molly wants to say, but he doesn’t dare speak for fear it will set him coughing again, and for all he knows he might be. Can someone drown on dry land?
A fight goes badly, and Molly gets pinned underwater for long enough that by rights he should have drowned right then and there under the noonday sun. Instead, the lake takes its painful last stand in the dead of night. Luckily, Fjord and Jester are quick to help him through it.
