Ilya’s hand wraps around his bare wrist and squeezes. Shane barely stops himself from collapsing to his knees.
The pressure lights up every receptor of his touch-starved nervous system, wrenching a small, pained noise from the back of his throat. Every muted sensation comes flooding back so intensely that it almost hurts. He needs Ilya to hold him down until there’s nothing inside him but quiet. He wants to sink into him and disappear.
It takes Shane an entire beat to remember where they are. Fighting against the fog in his mind, he manages to drag his gaze up to meet Ilya’s.

He starts to notice a beautiful, soft spoken man coming in once or twice a week to pick up something last minute, things like bouquets, pints of Ben and Jerry’s, bottles of wine, and confections. Harry starts to wonder whom this stranger is treating with these little surprises, wishing it were him. Little does Harry know that he’s also caught the stranger’s attention, which is why he keeps coming back, and he thinks Harry should definitely spend some time with him and his lover.

His fingers brush over it once, and then again before he actually looks down and sees the thin golden band wrapped around Eddie's ring finger. Then he just—stares at it, stupidly, for a second. Before Eddie pulls his hands back, and leaves Buck's hanging empty in the space between them.
