Anne was out with Max and Eleanor. His knight in shining armor, his Nurse Ratchett, nowhere to be found. He supposed he could wait another day, presuming she spent the night out, more and more lesbians gravitating to her side as the night went on like the great sapphic star that she was.
But Jack was already feeling the effects of the hormonal withdrawal, and it would only get worse the longer he waited. This left him with two options:
One: he’d suck it up and do it himself. This method had a roughly 25% chance of success, as the last time he’d tried it he’d barely gotten the safety cap off the needle before passing out.
Two: he’d get Charles to do it.
Which would of course be the easiest, except for the small, tiny matter. Teeny really. Just the tiniest little issue that, of course. He just. He wasn’t out to Charles.

Butcher has always been unpredictable.
This time it's a little different.
“Can I touch you?” Butcher asks, growls, purrs or something because it’s dark and heady and rough and it makes things in Hughie’s brain stutter and stall and smoke.
“What?” Hughie asks intelligently, hand frozen on Butcher’s where he’s failing to remove the other man.
“Can. I. Touch. You?” Butcher asks, again, that roughness in his tone getting even deeper.
“Isn’t that,” Hughie tries, “I mean what do you mean,” Hughie goes for again, “You are fucking touching me,” is where Hughie ends up.
“Can I,” Butcher barely whispers, not so much as moving, not flexing a finger or a hand or a muscle, “touch you?”

Covered in Lucy's (the whale) blood and guts, the boys take to the sewers. What occurs there is canon-compliant save my descriptions and writing. What happens after, down in the basement, when everyone is clean and Butcher cannot sleep is a whole new story. He can't get it out of his head what almost happened to Hughie. It seems Hughie is having some deep thinking and realizations, too.

Summary
Edwin stood rooted to the spot, his mouth went dry, and even if he could speak all words suddenly seemed lost to him. The Cat King, spinning a coat tassel in his hand, strolls closer. Edwin kept his eyes trained on the man’s face, carefully avoiding the miles of uncovered skin. Even though Edwin was fully and completely clothed, he had never felt more exposed. The Cat King stops inches away and Edwin can feel the heat radiating off of his body.
Or what if the Cat King never gave Edwin the bracelet in episode 2.

The Clone Wars have just begun. Obi-Wan has just knighted his padawan and taken command of the 212th, necessitating a shift to a more military mode of being. The last time he was a military commander, he was 13, on Melida/ Daan. He never actually recovered from that experience, opting to suppress the memories instead. Now the memories and traumas are back in full force, and Anakin is old enough and knows Obi-Wan well enough to notice, which raises some questions in his mind about some of the things the Supreme Chancellor has said about Obi-Wan. At any rate, Anakin can also see the angry ghost of the dead girl who has begun appearing in mirrors, wordlessly accusing Obi-Wan, denouncing him as a disaster of a commander. Obi-Wan and Anakin must adapt to the changing circumstances of their lives and redefine their relationship.
