Summary
Amity cringes when the thunder sounds, her hand slipping out of Luz's to cover her ears instinctively, and she presses her head down against Luz's shoulder to muffle the sound, but she doesn't hide her face, the lightning flashes reflecting in the gold of her eyes. It's like she's overwhelmed and transfixed all at once, and Luz thinks maybe that's what storms are like, when you're sheltered indoors: a collision of loud and quiet, of danger and safety. A paradox, just like this moment, because she's happy and sad, all in one.

Summary
In this AU Lilith is a teacher at Hexside as well as the leader of the Emperor's Coven.
This starts off with two stories that can be stand alone. From part three and onward it's more of an actual series and I would recommend reading the parts in order, for context.
What is it about? Found family, a serious amount of angst and a big helping of hurt/comfort. Periods and body pains (fibromyalgia) are recurring themes. Also dysfunctional family relationships, including but not limited to the Blight family. Lumity is the endgame here. Slowest of slowburns.
Edit: I started writing this series thinking Eda was the older sister, and I'm keeping it that way in this AU... since it's already an AU.- Words:

Summary
Amity's lids folded together in a slow blink, remaining closed for a second before peeling back to once again reveal that gorgeous gaze.
Luz returned the gesture, slow blinking as she stroked her girlfriend's hand with her thumb.
It was then Luz recalled something else her mom had taught her: slow blinking was how cats said hello. It signaled trust and friendliness.
Warm and fuzzies overtook Luz. Oh my god, she's literally a cat GF!
Amity's blink was quicker this time, her brows dented in confusion. "A what?"
Fuzzies replaced by embarrassment, Luz groaned, "I said that out loud, didn't I?"

Summary
Things hadn’t always been like this. They had actually been pretty close once, back when they’d been little. Faded memories of offering a baby her favorite toy and excitedly chatting with Amity before she was even capable of answering, of pillow forts and sleepovers in each other’s rooms, of late-night reading sessions when their parents believed them to be asleep, snuck back to the front of Emira‘s mind. Now, all that remained was the game their parents played. Their bond, carefully severed through years of intentional misconceptions, had been turned into just another puppet string.
Amity comes home after Lost in Language, and her siblings are forced to confront the feelings they hurt. But they might not be the only ones.
OR: The Blight children finally figure out what their parents’ game is, and decide they’re done playing it.

Camila is not a stupid woman.
She sees it, is the thing; the way Amity acts around Luz. The difference in their interactions. Amity is stifling and awkward around Camila, quiet and snarky around the others, but with Luz, she’s almost achingly soft, constantly touching her in some way. She winds her fingers around Luz’s arm and pulls her into hugs whenever Luz is looking particularly down, bumps their heads together as if she’s trying to share the pain. Hell, just the way she looks at Luz makes Camila’s heart seize.
She knows that look, and even if she hadn’t seen it firsthand for (too many) years ago, it’d still be recognizable. Luz shares it, is the real kicker. When she looks back at Amity.
So, Camila… wonders.
