Wilbur’s passionate, warm gaze, burning right through the duck-hybrid. Quackity crumbled underneath the burn, melting into Wilbur’s embrace further. He missed the burn, he missed the great passionate Wilbur, he had missed Wilbur soot.
He took a moment to savor the past, to savor the feeling of home. Wilbur was a gorgeous mess of chaos, Quackity knew this all too well, yet he still brought the feeling of home, safety.Maybe he found comfort in the chaos, in fact, he savored it.

Summary
Ever since Quackity was taken from his family when he was 14 for being a hybrid, experiments were tested on him until they couldn't salvage him anymore. Now age 20, he wanders from place to place, taking hostage in welcoming homes- not in the way one would expect. Before he got kidnapped, he was a normal hybrid, a human body with duck wings. He could transform into a duck on command. The experiments caused a major effect on him. Whenever the sun rose, he would turn into a duck, and couldn't turn back until the clock hit midnight. So, he travels place to place, leaving the second the people would start suspecting him.
It gets lonely, though. He just wished he could form proper relationships with people.

The casino is fucking silent: the only sound is the bugzapper crackle of the neon. The tip of the paper flares blue and his mouth tastes like burning wood. Las Nevadas is pristine and perfect and empty. He has everything he’s dreamed of but he’s all alone. His white shirt is rumpled, discolored with blood stains he hasn’t bothered to clean. What the fuck’s the point, if he just adds more every twenty-four hours?
Footsteps startle him out of his skin. A second silhouette under the gas lamp, and a soft tap on his shoulder. “Hey, old friend,” says Wilbur Soot, fond smile audible in his voice. “Got a light?”
