It had been years since Nico had found himself on the other side of the world, after a jump gone wrong. He had honestly thought he was past that, but it seemed nearly fading into the shadows had some unfortunately foreseen side effects. Now here he was, about to jump into a river thousands of miles away from home, so he could save a peculiar man from drowning, while a hoard of ghosts were probably booing Nico from the sidelines.
However, it seemed the fates needed a good laugh today, because now it looked like he was stuck with said drowning man for the foreseeable future, even if it was technically his own fault.

"What-" Megumi started, whipping his head around to look. A metal handcuff was clipped into his thin wrist and Megumi felt his dark eyes widen.
A man stood beside him, his hair was blonde and tied into a scruffy ponytail. One of his hands was locked into the handcuff with Megumis' and the other held a pale green notebook with "Ideals" scrawled accross the cover. He was dressed formally and he had bright emerald eyes that sat behind a basic pair of glasses.
Megumi looked at him, his mouth moved to speak but no words came out.
"I'll have to stop you to stop right here, kid" the man said with a serious yet somewhat gentle voice "I'm going to need to ask you some questions."

At sixteen, Gojo Satoru and Masamichi Yaga appear in her living room. They take her still bloody hands and lead her into the world of jujutsu, the only place she could still turn to.
The girl hones her powers alongside Satoru and Suguru, becoming an inseparable trio. A secret is shared between the three: the girl is capable of getting past Satoru's Infinity. If word got out, they would both be in serious danger - Satoru because someone would be able to get past what made him invincible, and Akane because she might be used as a weapon.
She is still unsure why she sometimes senses other people's emotions or intentions, or at least she thinks she does, despite no external signs of them. However, nobody knows how to help her. Her last name is most likely fake, and nobody's heard of abilities like hers.
