Maverick didn’t turn around to look at him, if he wanted to be left alone then that was what he was gonna do, so he was surprised when there was a shuddering of breath against his neck.
“Why can’t I get you out of my head?” Ice’s voice was rough with confusion as his forehead landed softly on Maverick’s shoulder, nose pressed into his pulse, what the hell?
“Good question seeing as you told me to get lost last time we spoke.” Maverick ignored the fact he didn’t immediately shove Ice off of him, but also what the fuck? -
