This is set before Shadow Milk had a complete body after breaking out of the Beast’s prison.
What if: Due to him being physically unstable and “unfinished” in a sense, he was able to catch a cold. Even the mightiest beast will fall victim to the common cold at some point. However without the right care, a common cold can turn into your worst nightmare, especially when you are not used to it.
