Have you ever seen a time traveler dropped into the middle of someone else's butterfly effect? How about several dozen someones? AKA I nabbed all my fave clone troopers and sprinkled them into a much happier galaxy, with a touch of violence on top. As a treat.

    Summary

Ser Byrn doesn’t smile too often, but he does now, a small, tentative grin that shows his crooked teeth and does reach his eyes.

“My lady, if I thought you were the kind of helpless maiden knights rescue in songs all the time, I really would be a complete fool.”

For a moment, she wonders, is he fucking serious.

But – good gods, he is. His lovely blue eyes are staring straight into hers, and there isn’t one thing about the way he’s looking at her that suggests he’s japing. Hells, he’s still blushing. And he’s still touching her face as if he thinks she’s some kind of precious glass, which is all goddamn wrong but at the same time feels so nice she could weep with it –

Maybe, a small traitorous voice tells her, maybe those knights you used to sing about do exist after all.

    Summary

Sansa was determined to convince her aunt to let Arya debut, which is how she finds herself in her current predicament.

“Who is this secret gentleman who has asked for your hand?” Aunt Lysa asks, and Sansa knows from her tone that she does not believe. (She has every right not to believe, for it is not true.)

And then Sansa does something very, very foolish.

    She says a name.

    “The Duke of Dragonstone!”

Or, Sansa fakes an engagement so that Arya can debut and marry the man she loves. The only problem? Her fake fiance just so happens to be in the city when he was not supposed to be.

    Summary

Melisandre, her father’s priestess, had once tried to teach her that she should be afraid of the darkness. That it was something that ought to be fought and kept away at all costs. It was the Great Other, she’d whisper, but never quite explained what this Great Other then was. Therefore, all those hushed conversations and veiled threats did very little to impress Shireen.
The Red Priestess, however, had not failed to instill fear into her. Not of the dark, or of this nameless, voiceless God, but of a simple wooden pole placed on a small stage.
