At first she really didn’t care for it, she was more than happy with only the company of her brother. But then she found herself alone at Teyvat and for the first time in her life, she felt like she belonged somewhere.
Now, now she wants nothing more than to be free of the curse. Such a shame that her brother didn’t want the same.

“Engaging in some extracurricular activities tonight are we, Master Diluc?”
Diluc doesn’t respond, which is normal—in fact, he doesn’t react at all, leaning on the handle of his claymore with a long breath. That’s…less normal, to Kaeya at least, who can usually read the slightest of expressions on the man’s face. But there’s nothing there now; no sign that Diluc even heard him as he slumps slightly, head hanging forward between his shoulders.
Kaeya frowns.
“Master Diluc…?”Or: Diluc deals with his insomnia by overworking and undersleeping, which works out very well and fine for everyone involved.
