Summary
After the dust has settled on the Blood War, Uryuu is trying to do right by whatever scattered remnants of his people may survive in the world of the living. Scouring the old tapestries, he and Ichigo find something.
Ichigo's grandfather might still be alive.
And he's passed through Karakura very recently.
Of course, a Kurosaki is not a Kurosaki without becoming something more, and this particular one is something very feared indeed. His students would certainly attest.

“Hm?” He paused, mouth full of pulled pork. Zelda wasn't looking at him.
“About what I'd say if I ever met my past self. I know I said I wasn't sure, but I – I thought about it a lot, you know, when I was in the past. I – I often had the thought that maybe, if I figured out a way to go forward in time again, I could... make a stop by our past. You know.”
He swallowed the pork. “Change it.”

After two apocalypses, Hyrule is settling into a new norm. Its people, brave and defiant, have survived it all. But of them, very, very few remember the way it used to be.
Link isn't one of them. He doesn't want to go back. He loves Hyrule as it is now, broken cloud barrier and all. Besides, they've already learned their lesson. Time travel does not change the past, regardless of the strange dreams of the neo-champions. He doesn't even know enough to decide if it was a world he liked.
Then, he recalls.
And he's always been one to fight losing battles.

He's not in Hyrule, he's sure of that. The singing in his ears is silent, not a whisper of the usual songs of Hyrule. It's odd, to miss something he didn't even know he had. It leaves him feeling... lonely. Aimless, directionless.So he is sent off to seek his dreams from the prestigious Cang Qiong Mountain Sect. With the gleaming promise of swords and songs among the clouds, it sounds almost like a dream.
But first, he has to get there.

Summary
The first thing Merlin ever saw upon entering Camelot was the beheading of a man in the town square, by order of the king.
The second thing he saw was a blond haired man being dragged off in a fury by the guards, dressed in red finery and trying to sink his teeth into an ungloved guards hand.
The third thing Merlin saw in Camelot, was an old and heartbroken woman swearing vengeance for her son, who escaped in a blast of wind.
As it turned out, each of those three things were equally important indicators of the life he was about to lead.

I decided to give Merlin a break from his unrelenting stress and worry and give him an Arthur who has a few secrets of his own - not least that this is his second life, and not his first time being called King. -

She prays, every day. Thanklessly, endlessly, sincerely. On the road, in her quarters, beneath the looming stone statue of the goddess; in her tailored, dripping finery or her nightgown and slippers.
Nothing happens. No one responds. Her father is growing ever more impatient and the kingdom is losing its faith in her.
In a last ditch attempt, she is sent to the newly discovered spring of courage. She performs her rites, wears her robes, eats and sleeps and sneaks in moments to study the strange architecture. She prays. She grows desperate.
Nothing happens.
And then, in her last moments of faith, a storm rolls in.
