Moving back means many things, like being reunited with her best friend, Lucie, and Lucie's brother, James, who had been Cordelia's childhood crush.But what sounds like returning to simplistic life in a small English town ends up being more complicated than Cordelia ever could have imagined. Why was James so distant all those years? Who is Grace? What does Matthew Fairchild, James' friend, want from her exactly? And what happened between her brother and Thomas Lightwood?
