Jisung speaks up just as Seungmin is leaving the kitchen. “Night, Seungmin.”
Seungmin turns and smiles, speaking warmly. “Goodnight. Get home safely, Jisung-ah.” He turns and disappears through the doorway. Jisung doesn’t look away from the empty space until he hears Seungmin’s door shutting quietly somewhere down the hallway.
Felix looks up at Jisung, holding up the piping bags. “Now, are you gonna help me decorate all these cookies?”

“Just a friend. Someone from work,” Jeongin says, shrugging with one shoulder.
“What’s their name?” Seungmin asks. He’s trying hard to mask the shock in his voice. His discomfort is probably as clear as day on his face—he can practically feel his eye twitching. But luckily—or unluckily—Jeongin doesn’t look up from his phone to notice. He’s still texting.
“Beomgyu,” Jeongin answers.

Seungmin nods, and looks out the window as the streets fly by them in a blur.

“I purred today.” Jeongin cuts him off, Chan stares at him wide-eyed.
“Really?” Jeongin nods, “I haven't heard you purr, since… I don’t think I’ve ever heard you purr.”
“I purred once, when I was fifteen, hyung. A decade ago.”
Chan sucks his teeth a bit, “Damn, Innie, you’ve got it bad.”
“I purred because I gave him a tape dispenser, and he used it.”
Chan just looked at him for a moment, “It sounds like your fox wants to court him, or subdue him, or something. You’re happy that you’re providing for him, at least, on a subconscious level.” Jeongin cringes, because that’s exactly what was going through his head when he gave Seungmin the tape.
