It’s been a couple of weeks since Robert became the Z-Team’s dispatcher. The fact everyone lost the bet on when he’d be getting out bummed everyone out, but when the idea of a “What hero is Robert Robertson” betting pool came up, everyone got pumped again trying to figure it out.

Maybe he shouldn’t have pushed one of his more volatile students quite so far while playing as Sukea. One moment, he was enjoying a final game of teasing his face before passing the Hokage hat to Naruto; the next, he was in the past, draped in oversized clothes that now felt more like a tent than an outfit.
It wasn’t ideal, but he’d survived worse. His plan was simple: step into his old life, lay low, and figure out a way back to his proper timeline, even if it was the long way. Except... it seemed he hadn’t displaced his younger self. Instead, there were two Kakashis now, and they had to adapt.
The younger Kakashi, sharp-eyed and prickly as ever, clearly wasn’t thrilled by the intrusion. But older Kakashi wasn’t too worried. After all, he’d survived his students—adorable little brats who’d outgrown their charm and turned into forces of nature. Compared to them, his younger self was manageable.

But did the Sandaime hear him? No, because the Sandaime wasn’t Minato-sensei and the old man never listened to him. And he went ahead with the brilliant idea of saddling him with his dead sensei’s son, Itachi’s little brother, and a kunoichi who was so much a cannon fodder that she had a literal target on her bright red dress.
He would not be blamed for the shitshow that was about to start.
OR.
Kakashi only knows how to teach three things: survival, assassination, and pretending to be normal. Good thing that's exactly what his cute little genins need to learn. And if they also learned how to be a family in the process, well, that's just a bonus.

But every time he saw the photo of his old team, he remembered why he couldn’t.
He couldn’t let that happen to them. This system had already screwed them over. The people who were supposed to care for them had done the opposite.
Kakashi wasn’t going to be another adult who let these kids down.
“I don’t know what’s going to happen. And maybe I’ll only make things worse…” Kakashi murmured softly to the framed photo at his bedside. “…But I have to try.”
He had too. Or these pups were as good as dead.
OR: Kakashi realizes how bullshit it is that Team Seven was even a team in the first place, and does things differently. Screw Hiruzen for putting him in this position.

Gem knows all of them, and yet she's never met them before. When she wakes up in a circle of so many others who behave as though this situation is completely and utterly mundane and toss bitter thoughts and inside jokes amongst each other, she's just desperate for an explanation. Scott and Impulse have both been helping her along on the first day, but they just say it's some sort of game. Problem is, they won't tell her the rules, nor the victory conditions.
There's only so long she'll let them keep her in the dark, though, even if she could've gotten her answer a long time ago if she'd just shot a single glance up.

Gem Tay Slab is a perfect example of self control.
She did NOT immediately start sketching out designs for a hero costume, or daydream about saving people and defeating villains as soon as she got powers.
She wouldn't do that. Especially not with Etho constantly on her case, making sure she's "okay" (really she's fine, he needs to lay off, she barely remembers their parents but jeez he's worse than them)--
Etho Slab is very tired and worried.
Gem is becoming more distant, and Etho barely sees his own sister between his three jobs, and any technical support calls he gets.
Not to mention how his powers are getting out of hand, he has to lock his own room so that Gem doesn't see the void taking over.
What does this mean for them? Is something going on with Gem? What if someone's threatening to hurt her, or something happened to her so she's distant and Etho didn't notice because he's a bad brother?
It feels like his life is falling apart.or, maple leaf duo as siblings in a world full of superheroes
