It's while browsing Tumblr late at night, when all the suggestive clips are so awkwardly reblogged, that Levi stumbled across a clip with a familiar face. He couldn't tear his eyes away, and it was now entirely Eren Jäger's fault he was going to fail his Biology test tomorrow morning.
Regardless, Levi pressed play and sound filtered through his earbuds as the clip began.

Summary
Die nine times. Get up ten.
The invention of respawn, the nearly instantaneous reversal of death, has won wars and forever changed how Overwatch operates. Ammunition is infinite, nanobots repair wounds better than new, and expiration is a slap on the wrist. For some, respawn is nothing short of a miracle.
For others, it's the apocalypse.
Hanzo Shimada has no strong opinion on it one way or the other, but as he's enveloped in Overwatch culture, makes friends, discovers enemies, and fosters a vitriolic love for one Jesse McCree, he finds that every death has consequences, and respawn offers no sanctuary.

This can be read as a standalone, (Im like ~99% sure) but for maximum heartbreak you'll probably want to read the first two chapters of Wildflowers. Mostly because there are some small plot things mentioned in this that'll make you question what's going on, but It's not super relevant either.
