In the ashes of a forgotten Cybertronian facility, the Decepticons stumble upon a remnant of Cybertron’s most horrifying sins—a still-functioning factory that once stole CNA to mass-produce sparklings bred for slavery. Among the flickering stasis pods, one malformed, struggling sparkling catches Megatron’s attention—not as a future soldier, but as something achingly familiar. Taph sighed softly, still crouched. He looked at the branches of his faux Christmas tree, worn from use. He should probably invest in some more tinsel to brighten the sad tree up, maybe a new gold star to put at the top-

Taph whipped around so rapidly that he probably pulled something in his neck. What was that?
It's a foggy Christmas Eve. Families are giving presents. Little boys and girls across the world are having the best night of their lives, waiting for Santa to slide down the chimney at any moment.
Taph is waiting too, hiding in his boarded-up house as he waits for a jolly visitor to make their way into the fireplace. Unfortunately, the one who arrives isn't very merry.
When he wakes up in a dusty cabin in the woods, he finds many faces staring him down. Some new, some old. Whether he likes it or not, he's going to find himself getting closer to every one of them over the coming weeks.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” he says frantically.
He feels Yoo Joonghyuk’s lips curve into a frown under his palm, ticklish and hot against that sensitive skin. He ekes out an odd sound and jerks back, yelping again when the back of his head collides with the wall.
Yoo Joonghyuk’s expression turns more bewildered than reprimanding. “What is with you?”
