Feliciano held his hands up in defense as he gave a nervous laugh. “Come on! Ludwig said he wanted to spend more time with his brother, so I said, why not? A double date isn't the end of the world!” The younger of the two tried to argue his case as Lovino glared at him.
“And you thought I'd actually agreed to it?! Feliciano, use your brain for once!” He snapped right back as he saw the tears in his brother's eyes. Oh, and here came the waterworks. “...Fine. Fine! But only for tonight! The more time I spend around him, the more I wonder why I'm wasting my time!”
Sure, he had been around Gilbert a few times. The conferences, the times he'd go see his brother with his dumb boyfriend, and… some drunk nights. He didn't want his own brother knowing that part.

Suddenly, the world stops spinning and time refuses to move forward. If it weren't for the sound of his heartbeat echoing in his ears due to the sudden deathly silence, he would think he had just died.
“I'm not in the mood for your nonsense.”
“It's not nonsense,” Prussia complains under his breath before ordering another jar. “Forget it. I got carried away by the special date.”
