Summary
Where Rev Paul Coates shines
This is a story about a child kidnapping and a water rescue. The child isn't hurt and everything turns out ok. There is reference to past domestic abuse but not in detail. I did pick teen and up to be on the safe side.
This is a case fic. As has been said about war, police work is a whole lot of boring punctuated by moments of sheer terror. I hope I have struck a good balance.
There is romance, but, as always, it is subtle and not easily identified between Hardy and Miller, not even by themselves.
It will be necessary to suspend disbelief long enough to believe in an advertised open-air festival at night at mid-winter on the coast in the UK.

Summary
A third-party perspective of the second meeting of Crowley and his Angel in 1966 after the Holy Water refusal in 1862.
I have no idea where this came from. I was working on other stories along more normal lines, but this one wanted to be born today. I chose the title because I don’t know why it wanted to be thought of, completed, and posted today otherwise.
There’s no sex, no snuggling, no first time anything, no violence, no whumpf and almost no Christmas. There is poetry (Robert Service), but not love poetry exactly. I think there is a lot of anguish and angst. And I think love and pining are also in there. If you haven’t read the book or seen the series, it probably won’t make any sense. It might not make any sense anyway. But it makes me cry because Robert Service’ poetry always makes me cry. And I think his poetry about sums up Crowley and Aziraphale in a lot of ways.
So, if you get past this summary, buckle up for a poetic face off and bad noir characterization and a surprise guest, if you don’t figure it out right away.
CW: Ch 1 is very sad and angsty, but Ch 2 redeems it, I hope.

Summary
Abominations of the Mythos run on a different metaphysics to Biblical entities; they have partial immunity to things that would obliterate an average angel or demon. So even Heaven will recruit one sometimes, after centuries of vetting. But there’s no changing what you are, and sometimes, that gets H’zr aph’aal down. It’s all very well for H'aaztre, now a Duke of Hell. Hell doesn’t mind a bit of ooze.
Crowley would’ve known how to cheer Aziraphale up, of course. Hell has the best tunes, and Crowley had been a legitimate demon.
If only Crowley were here.

Summary
Crowley has been working for Beelzebub for as long as it's mattered, but at this job he can't find his target. Everything is a little off, but it's not at all spooky enough. Not that he'll turn down regular meals, a comfortable bed and tending a garden in need guidance while looking. He might switch jobs if things stay this comfy.
Aziraphale has never been what the rest of the family wants him to be, including his indulgence in a splendid garden. However, his most recent gardener was forced to 'retire', and he can't tend it himself. Hiring the man who literally 'drops' in is probably a bad idea, but it's a fun idea and spares them all the trouble of 'hiring' anyone else this season. If only the family hadn't discovered an emergency.

Summary
A brief return visit to the Tadfield of the Squire’s Wife series, in part 4 of which Mother Shipton, an aptly named stray, made the husbands godfathers, more or less. One night about six months after the events of that fic, she has a mission to complete. Or, to repeat Neil Gaiman’s celebrated remark, cats do whatever the fuck they want to.
Unrepentant, lightweight feelgood fluff.
