Before he could say anything, Geshu Lin shoved him against the wall. His earlier stares had not gone unnoticed. If it was something Jiyan wanted, Geshu Lin was not opposed to sex, but it would not be gentle or sweet. Otherwise, he was free to leave the room.
Jiyan was no stranger to this kind of thing. With death so close, why not have a little fun when the opportunity arose? Seeing a fellow soldier return to the barracks at night after an escapade was not an unusual sight. Generally, Jiyan said no to such things, but how could he say no when it was the general himself asking?
“Answer me, Jiyan.”
Against his better judgment, he nodded.

Summary
As a shifter, you don't have much of a choice - join the police, don't ever use your ability, or join a gang. Hawks chose the former, Dabi the latter. When they meet in one of the few places where shifters can just be, without repercussions, without restrictions, they don't expect that soon they will meet again under very different circumstances - when Hawks tries to infiltrate Shigaraki's gang. But soon both of them realise that they have different interests than their higher ups, and that maybe the only way to reach their goals is by working together.
