Ragatha wakes up, suddenly and unexpectedly, back to her real and mundane life. Time has passed, and nothing's changed. It was like she never left at all. She's halfway through thinking she must be crazy when serendipity strikes: she bumps into someone she is almost entirely certain must be Jax.
Meanwhile, Jack's just wondering how he managed to bag a woman that seems so inexplicably obsessed with him. Don't fuck with crazy, he thinks, but fuck it, this whole ordeal was absurd enough to count as some form of post-ironic comedy. Even if she always looks at him like she's about to cry. (It's disconcerting, but hey, it just adds to the bit.)
