Safely hidden from her past in Piltover, Lyra thrives. She's a second-year student of aeronautical engineering at the Academy, and the youngest partner for the most proficient airship company Topside. But her pearly, if somewhat mundane reality shatters once an old childhood friend steps into the picture. He does not recognize her, definitely does not like her, and she intends to keep it that way.
In the meantime, the damage of her father's biological experiments begins to take a toll on her, particularly when she finds out her powers react to Hexcore gemstones.
Slowly descending into madness and the corruption of magic, Lyra attempts to resist the metamorphosis of her nature. But fails miserably to do so.

Summary
For who is like God? Certainly not Mia, that's for sure. Her life was going really well! One small step away from her degree, living with her best friend, and about to snag one hot piece as a boyfriend. All of that ended when a satyr demon broke into her apartment.
The illusion of a happy life is shattered and Mia is thrown into an eons long conflict. Now she has to live in Hell for protection and cope with everything else to boot! On top of that, the Radio Demon starts screwing with her head, woefully ignorant to the life they built. Alastor enjoys the distraction even as it starts to threaten his demonic sensibilities. And his promotion.
All the while: Ancient demons plot a war. The Radio Demon gets less bored. Charlie becomes acquainted with human musicals. Follow the archangel Michael, clueless about her past, not exactly single, absolutely powerless, painfully mortal, overly reckless, and feeling incompetent.
Welcome to a slow burning fiction where I have crafted an overly complicated origin story for everything, I break typical Christian lore, and attempt to write for more characters than I should. Please enjoy and feel free to rip me a new one. I'm into that.
