Summary
Damian stares at him from across the room, even through the domino mask, Tim could tell his eyes were wide. He can’t figure out why for all of a second before his eyes catch on the broken rebreather in his baby brother’s hand.
He darts forward before he can think, ripping off his rebreather and shoving it on a confused Damian’s face.
After barely a second, “Red Robin!” Damian starts, panic taking over as he realises what Tim’s doing, “What are you- NO take it back!”
Tim carefully watches as his brother struggles to unlatch the rebreather, taking care to breathe in as little toxin as possible. He places his hands on Damian’s smaller ones, pulling them down from the filtering device. A soft smile spreads across Tim’s face despite himself.
“It’s okay Robin.” And it truly was. His brother was safe, that’s all that matters.
