“I’m serious!” Futaba argued, “Hear me out, ok? If the metaverse runs on cognition, then why wouldn’t it work? I mean, even if it was a children’s movie, there is still some sort of an innate belief that a true love kiss from a prince can indeed wake someone up. There have been countless media produced from this concept, movies, books, games; I mean, it is a fairly overused trope, but that, in turn, could work to our advantage! People have cognition of you, your detective prince persona. Even if it is made up, people will innately believe it. Society wants to believe it, therefor the cognition should be strong enough that it could work!”
Akechi frowned, hating how he saw the complete logic in it, “So my chance of being able to wake him up with a kiss hinges on the possibility of enough people seeing Sleeping Beauty and believing that is a viable way of waking coma patients. Fantastic. Well done, Humanity.”
Or Akira gets inflicted with a sleep ailment, the Meta App glitched at the wrong time and the Phantom Thieves have to figure out how to lift the ailment.

Summary
When Goro found himself breaking out in a cold sweat, shooting out of bed like a bullet from the muzzle, he wasn’t quite sure what to do.
He’s heaving and absolutely breathless. His brain felt fuzzy, and his lips numb. He felt disconnected from his body as he looked down at his wobbling feet, his vision going in and out of focus seemingly at random.
Oh, he’s standing now. He doesn’t remember getting out of bed. Is his memory truly that far gone?
He doesn’t recall the contents of the nightmare— no, rather, he doesn’t want to.
All he desires now is to get the fuck back to sleep.
Yet, Goro’s actions seem to betray him. Before he processed what he was doing, he was already hovering over his nightstand, punching a familiar number into his charging cell phone.
Goro has a nightmare.
His first instinct is to call Akira, yet he doesn't know how to accept help when it is given.

Akira’s dazed mind scrambles even more. His skin buzzes where Goro touches him, the blood rushing in his veins and leaving him dizzy.
