Summary
“But I’m just a clerk!” Evie cried. “I’m nothing, a nobody.”
“And Andraste was an Alamarri tribeswoman captured and enslaved by the Tevinter Imperium. Nobody is a nobody in the eyes of the Maker,” Leliana countered.
Solas carefully crafted his plan over millennia whilst he floated in uthenera, but no plan survives first contact with the enemy. And falling for a human was never part of the plan. Every day his companions refuse to remain faceless abstracts, they are loud, they are bright, they are real, Evelyn of Crestwood more so than any of them.

Summary
A retelling of Rookanis with all the detail Bioware forgot.
--Rook panted, her chest rising and falling with deep breaths. She swallowed and felt his blade dig into the delicate skin at her throat, just barely enough pressure to split flesh. Blood bloomed and spilled, a thin and thready rivulet that trickled downward to be lapped up by the fabric of her collar. Lucanis followed it with his gaze, eyes hungry with desperation but burning near-black with resolve.
“Surrender, Rook,” he said.
“No.”
He shifted, correcting his stance and drawing back one arm so that he could poise the blade above her heart. A growl escaped him and he bared his teeth, pushing the sword until the blade tip punctured her garment, punctured her skin. She cried out, a small bleat of pain coupled with a hiss, but she bore up under it, channeling it into something else entirely.
“Dammit, Rook!” he screamed at her. “Surrender!”
An unhinged laugh escaped her and she smiled, the copper-coin scent of blood in the air. His nostrils flared and he bared his teeth, but his determination rallied in the face of her defiance.
“You first,” she said.
And he shattered.

Summary
Stopping an ancient elven god from tearing down the Veil sounded a lot easier on paper than in practice. Then everything went to shit and there were two more ancient elven gods bent on destroying the world in the mix. Rook thought her hands were plenty full trying to stop the world from ending, but then she met Lucanis Dellamorte. Handsome, suave, skilled in the art of contract killing, and only a minor Abomination, he should have been the least of her worries. Yet he wasn't. There was something so terrifying about falling in love as the fate of the world was hanging in balance. It wasn't part of her strategy to find herself caring about the talented assassin.
Finally freed from his imprisonment, Lucanis agreed to help the small mage on her quest to save the world because he owed her a favour. Nothing more, nothing less. Certainly not because she was the most beautiful thing he'd ever seen. Definitely not because Spite actually listened to her and seemed to like her spitfire just as much as he did. She was just supposed to help him get revenge on his imprisoners. He wasn't supposed to have feelings for his client.
When there is everything to lose, how could love even be an option?

Summary
Kore Mercar had grown up a slave; not that her own mind would believe so. A fateful rebellion aided by the Shadow Dragons would prove to be her way out. She hovered the unforgiving streets of Minrathous like a ghost for months before deciding to join them. Just when she finally began opening up, Nessus happened, and she felt like she was back to square zero. Despite everything, she embarked on a new adventure with Varric and the Veilguard; on the measly quest of saving the world against her Gods.
Although Rook was a mage, it was a famed Demon who would become her comfort.
