The setting is after DMC4, years after Vergil's enslavement under Mundus and subsequent "death". Having escaped Hell, he is seeking Yamato in order to restore his feeble mortal coil.

Summary

His long held affections for Gale drive him forwards, and with the aid of companions, they race against time to rescue Gale from the clutches of evil.

Summary
Gale moved to Baldur's Gate to start fresh, making use of his Kinesiology Degree to work as a personal trainer. A year after landing a job at Hellfire Physique, he gets hired by a fresh face in the gym, an elf named Astarion. Gale had caught Astarion's eye from the get go, and so the pale elf decided to make his move, attempting to gauge, and potentially seduce the gorgeous trainer into his bed. Gale, who had never before felt anything towards any man, suddenly finds himself enraptured by the alluring elf, his client no less, someone who should be off limits. Despite his efforts to resist, Gale can only deny reality, and his own desires, for so long. However, in the shadows dark forces collude, with both of their pasts coming back to haunt them. As they fight against an evil they never expected, the strength of their bond is put to the test.

Not being to walk in the sun and struggling with doubts about his capabilites as a tailor cause Astarion great despair. When Gale notices the depth of difficulty Astarion is struggling with, he strives to show his fiance just how wonderful and capable he truly is.

Summary
All Astarion wanted to be was a fashion designer. His adoptive father, Cazador, had other plans for his life; Fencing competitively. Unfortunately, his body had its own plans as well. With a chronic pain disorder at his heels, Astarion is given no let up from his training. Now qualified for the Olympics, Astarion and other qualified Baldur's Gate athletes land in Evereska to compete.
Gale's mother insisted he do fencing his whole life, no matter how little interest he had in the sport, but to please her, he did as told. His desire to be a magician is slowly dissipating into a bottle of alcohol. As an up and coming fencing star, he is now in Evereska to go for gold, like his mother hopes for.
A fateful encounter at a local tavern leads to a night the two of them won't forget, and neither will the rest of Evereska.

Summary
Gale is not interested in relationships after Mystra's betrayal, but on Karlach's advice, decides to delve into the world of online dating - only to forego the dating aspect. After months of sleeping with anyone he found worthy and willing, he felt better, no longer tethered to emotions like before. Until he swipes right on Astarion.
Astarion, whose love life was practically a disaster zone, finally felt ready to embrace the dating scene again, and swiped right on Gale. He managed to convince Gale to take him out on a proper date despite the man's initial resistance, even if Astarion knew that the end result would just be a one-night stand.
But maybe, just maybe, they both swiped right, on Mr. Right.

Summary
Magic has rules. Magic has a mistress. And Gale Dekarios knows something he was never meant to remember.
A year ago Gale made Zelara choose between himself and Astarion; she chose Astarion. A few weeks ago, Gale stopped answering their messages. Zel and Astarion show up in Waterdeep and find Gale being mind-fucked by his former goddess.
What begins as an attempt to untangle the lingering threads of Mystra’s influence over Gale turns into something much bigger—and far more dangerous. The truth lurking beneath the Weave is a secret worth killing for, and Mystra will stop at nothing to keep it buried. But Gale, Astarion, and Zelara have never been good at playing by the rules.
And Astarion and Zelara have never stopped loving Gale.
Canon Caveat: I'm playing fast and loose with Mystra and Weave lore here, outright changing it for a main plot point, and I'm not sorry about it. My lore is that Mystra is a horrible person in BG3, and I want her punished. Uh, and some magic stuff definitely goes beyond 5e rules and drifts adjacent to some magical realism. If you're here for some feels and smut and seeing Mystra get destroyed, you're in the right place. If you're here for lore, you're probably not lol.

Summary
Gale had desperately clasped Astarion's wrist, preventing him from fully wrenching away. From fleeing. And for a brief moment Astarion was ready to lash out with all of the feral fury a starving spawn had to offer.
The memory of that scorching touch was like a scar. The imprint of his lightly calloused, bare palm on Astarion's slender wrist was an invisible, white-hot brand upon his flesh. It was only Gale's wide, worried eyes and immediate surrender of Astarion's captured limb that saved him from being torn to ribbons by long-forgotten vampiric claws.
He loathed it. Touching and being touched.
People did not touch Astarion and survive.
Astarion did not touch people destined to live.

Astarion has a complicated relationship with physical touch. It brings up a wellspring of memories best left forgotten, and he doesn't even know if he could enjoy it anymore should he ever let anyone close enough to try... or five times Astarion sees Gale being held and has a lot of difficult feelings about it + the one time he does it himself and knows exactly how he feels about it.

With two discerning appetites, a deal to keep each other fed is the one thing that ties Astarion and Gale together. But the proverbial collar slips all too easily around Gale's throat, the lead feels right in Astarion's unchained hands, and both men think they've bested the other in a game neither should be playing.
In any case. As the greats say in lanceboard: there is no shame in losing to a stronger foe.

“You are so good to me.”
It is only because he is so close that he notices the subtle stiffening. Gale’s jaw clenches, for a moment, as blood pinkens the tip of his ear, then rushes to his cheek and nose. It lingers and just as Astarion notices the quickening of Gale’s pulse, he speaks, “It was nothing; Haldark’s is barely out of my way.”
His voice is a touch too high and Astarion eyes him curiously, an idea niggling at the back of his mind.
“Still,” Astarion whispers, once again nosing along the line of Gale’s neck to find a soft place to kiss him. After lingering in it a moment, he pulls back to watch Gale’s face and finishes, “You are always so good for me.”
