Summary
Thirteen year old Etsu hasn't been given a very good run of life. Stealing chips and jello cups from a hospital just to get some food in her, she doesn't expect to stumble across the room of a five year old Shoto Todoroki. Left recovering alone from a burn scar over his eye and looking terribly sad in his too-big hospital bed, Etsu doesn't expect to spontaneously ask if he wants to come with her, either.
Now both on the streets, Etsu's determined to give Shoto the life he deserves. Because if she's going to kidnap an entire child, she's going to commit to it and get him what he needs. No matter how hard it is or how many laws she has to break. After all, she already took him-- anything that comes after is just another cherry on top.
Now, if she can just do all that without getting caught, that'd be great. And where do all these other children keep coming from?
(Or: Etsu sees Shoto Todoroki in the hospital and thinks he looks very alone. After asking if he wants to come with her, she whisks him away to raise him. It goes a lot better than you'd think. Even if she does get a couple more kids than she bargained for in the end.)

It was in the silence of their shared space that Maru would get a glimpse of the fragility that lay beneath the surface of the usually haughty and high-powered man. He desired to give Eden everything he wished for, hoping to provide him some form of utility. There was a mutual desire for each man to tend each other’s wounds, to the best of each other’s capacity.
This is how Han Maru ended up in Eden’s bed, each instance becoming more and more frequent with each passing week. Despite this, there was no name that could be applied to what they were."
An EdenMaru fic where Maru learns the meaning of giving, and Seonwoo learns the meaning of trust.
