Agony.
White hot agony that seemed to burn every inch of him, itching to get him to rip his own skin off, but he couldn't move, he couldn't even scream, but he could vaguely hear people laughing at his torment and quiet whimpers from beside him.
Harry woke up with a start, gasping for air, he had been having those dreams a lot recently, and they always made him tremble as though the pain still lingered, making him feel like there was something wrong with his body in a way he couldn't exactly describe. Looking in the mirror he saw the same boy he had always been, but there was something wrong, something off.
Harry wasn't sure how much more of the Dursleys he could take, and these dreams weren't helping matters. He wasn't even 13 yet, but he was already counting down the days until he went back to Hogwarts.
Reposting this from Wattpad because apparently they like deleting my stories for no reason and I don't want to lose this. I can't really get pictures to work here, so any reference to pictures likely won't come up, but I might post the art I did on my tumblr so you can see it. (In the series I have Q&A with the characters. It's not super important, but it does tell you about some lore)

After Sirius dies in the Department of Mysteries, the bond between Harry and Draco takes a sharp turn, wreaking havoc on their minds as they progress through 6th year. Harry has a lot to deal with. Being almost killed by a Professor and his Aunt have hit him hard and now he finds himself at Sev's childhood home, where ghosts of the man's past still haunt him. Harry's summer is going to be busy as Family and Friends try to help him as best they can.
And while Severus does what he can, including finding him a Mind Healer and taking him into his home, there is only so much he can do when Albus continues to meddle in Harry's life.
Now with new friends and new faces, Harry's second year is just around the corner. Not to mention there is a monster or Wizard Petrifying students. When students begin to blame the Heir of Slytherin, Harry comes to see the fear and Hate that the other Houses hold against Slytherins. That doesn't sit well with our Harry. And what is up with this weird diary that he found?
