Protocol One, which states that no animatronic may hurt, injure or kill any guests, with full authorizations to protect them from any perceived threats.
And Protocol Zero, which states that any minor must be protected and helped at all costs, to the point of overriding other routines and protocols.
In which instead being Freddy the first animatronic Gregory meets, he meets the Daycare Attendants.

Jobless and in desperate need of work so he can pay the bills, Evan Afton has run out of room to be picky. So when he's generously offered a new job as a Nightguard and Maintenance worker at the nearest Freya's Anime Convention, he chooses to throw his own preferences aside in favour of not going homeless. Unfortunately this new job is anything but safe, good thing he knows a thing or two about dealing with dangerous Animatronics.
The Animatronics of the Convention aren't too fond of the idea of another Nightguard, they'd rather be left alone during night then have some stranger watching them. but their opinion on the new hire is open to change as he proves to be something different to what they were expecting him to be. After all, there is always more to an Afton than meets the eye.

It has been a few months after the defeat of Hawkmoth was announced and things should have gotten better for Marinette. Instead, they have only gotten worse as it seems Lila has only gotten worse as she has managed to turn everyone against Marinette including her parents. The person she would have once least suspected to help her ends up being the one to help her get away from everything to let things settle down some. He suspects something is seriously wrong with the situation though once Marinette leaves on her flight and decides to call in a little help to investigate finding that things aren't what they appear to be.
Once arriving to the place she will be living the next year, she finds herself forced to stay with someone else that she was expecting until fate lands her with the ones she was supposed to be with after a trip to the hospital puts her on the path of finding that she actually has family there.

I bet he’d adopt you in a heartbeat!”
“Sure, Chloe. I’ll just send him the adoption papers with a ‘Congrats, it’s a girl!’ letter.”
