Summary
Vaggie thought she was over the worst of Heaven's old teachings, cast aside memories of cold, pearly pillars and perfectly polished cities in favour of the filthy, sinful honesty that was Hell. Found her comfort in what was supposed to be eternal damnation.
The truth was that Hell contrasts Heaven so much it felt like a soothing blanket over her worst memories, making it almost too easy for Vaggie to believe she really was over her whole 'fall', her past is firmly in the past.She doesn't expect the Devil himself to be such a visceral reminder of the holy home she'd left behind, until old memories and pains long repressed are starting to resurface- all at the unwitting habits of one fallen angel and King of Hell, Lucifer Morningstar.
(in which Lucifer is far too much a fallen angel, that Vaggie is forced to confront the harsh truth of how much residual hurt from heaven she has yet to heal from)

His wide ruby eyes lock onto Alastor’s, searching for any ounce of humanity—or what he understands it to be—but all Lucifer sees, unfortunately, is the languid expression of a soul content in its degeneracy.
Alastor ruefully smiles. "You could argue we are much like the devil who created us."
Despite his loathing of sinners, Lucifer finds that somehow, Alastor’s torment revitalizes something within him. It’s a bloody distraction as he tries to not only support Charlie’s dream but also host the Heavenly visit of his estranged brothers, Gabriel and Michael.
The King of Hell is assuredly not having a good time.

Lucifer living at the hotel was practically inviting conflict between the big boss of Hell and the Radio Demon. Quite frankly, Lucifer is getting really tired of Alastor's shit. If Charlie won't let him incinerate the smug bastard, he's gonna have to find another way to get his point across.

The extermination has ended, Adam has been defeated, the angles have retreated. They were victorious, Charlie was able to save her people...most of her people. She looked around at her destroyed hotel, all the memories and improvements made gone in an instance. Sir Pentious was gone, died trying to help his found family. She collapsed onto the ground crying until her father and friends inspired her. Together they started to rebuild the hotel. Alastor was missing. Not dead just missing, Husk and Niffty made sure that everyone was aware that he was alive. Husk told them that the overlord was probably licking his wounds. Alastor was missing. The team continued to rebuild the hotel. The radio tower. The blood. The smell. Alastor was missing. It's fine, it's fine push down the growing concern, he's taking care of his wounds. Then a package arrives, no return address, holding a singular red monocle. Alastor was missing.
