Summary
On the battlefield’s final night, the angel spares the demon instead of killing him - an act forbidden by Heaven. For this mercy, both are cursed. Neither Heaven nor Hell will take them, so they’re cast into the mortal world. Powerless, half-human, forced to live among mortals who fear both angels and demons.
OR:
“I see,” Seonghwa murmured. The quiet, maddening calm made Hongjoong want to throw something.
“No,” Hongjoong snapped. “You don’t see. You think everyone acts out of kindness because you can’t imagine any other reason. Newsflash, halo – the world doesn’t revolve around good intentions.”
Seonghwa met his gaze evenly, serene as still water. “Perhaps not. But you did not have to make the fire so warm.”
Hongjoong froze.

Summary
Seonghwa hasn't been feeling well lately. Hongjoong knows it, his friends know it, even his students know it. He remains stubborn though, and tries to avoid getting checked as long as possible. It's a big mistake, and he soon finds himself at the place he hates the most. (the hospital)
OR:
Hours later, when it was technically past midnight and the hospital ward had sunk into its quieter rhythms, Hongjoong expected to see Seonghwa slipping toward rest. Instead, his partner was wide awake, eyes bright in the dim light, talking in half-formed circles.
“…And maybe when I’m better, we should repaint the bedroom. That blue never suited it. Something warmer. Or maybe not. Maybe warmer would feel too – what’s the word – claustrophobic. But the carpet is warm tone. Also, the picture on the wall isn’t even. I noticed it last week. Or was it the week before? Time is strange in hospitals. Do you think they make time here slower on purpose?”
Hongjoong pinched the bridge of his nose.

Summary
Hongjoong gets a new neighbor. He's very quiet and closed off. If only medicine could heal a broken soul... But maybe it didn't have to. Maybe there was a way of piecing someone back together.
Seonghwa starts a new life. It's hard, but staying would've shattered the remains of him. If only he could get over it, but the body remembered what the mind begged to forget. His new neighbor has him questioning things though. Maybe he didn't need to forget everything in order to be whole again.
OR:
"Hongjoong just gathered up all the scattered groceries and then sat down next to Seonghwa. He let his presence say the things he couldn’t.
I’m not here to fix you.
I’m not here to save you.
But I’m not leaving you alone with this."

Summary
Hongjoong whispered the fragile thought out loud, “I just can’t lose you.”
“You won’t,” Seonghwa said with a smile that wasn’t quite happy. “But if something ever happens, you won’t be the reason. You’ll be the reason I had a chance.” It was a harrowing truth, but it was also something that made Hongjoong finally exhale fully. He pulled Seonghwa gently into his arms. Not to check his pulse. Not to measure anything. Just to hold him.

Chaotic vacation of two idiots who love each other like an old married couple.

Seonghwa and Hongjoong have lived together for five years. Seonghwa was never really a fan of the modern interior of the apartment, and now he's had enough. They would renovate the apartment, make it warmer, more welcoming. Hongjoong agrees because he cannot say no to Seonghwa.
The kitchen is the first victim. Next is the bathroom. But then their little project takes a sharp detour when what seems like a simple flu spirals into something far more dangerous.

Summary
“They said I lied,” Hongjoong said, remembering the looks on the guards faces, the way one of them had punched him in the gut and threatened to make him regret lying.
“Did you?” omega asked. There was no curiosity in the voice, like he was asking the question just to entertain Hongjoong or be polite, not because he actually cared for the answer.
He grinned. “Well, yeah. Had I told them that I’m a pirate and I actually had robbed the facility moments ago, I’d be heading straight to the gallows.” Getting hanged really wasn’t in his plans that day. “Are you going to tell me what landed you here?”
“They say,” the voice replied, mimicking his tone, “I stabbed someone.”
“Did you?”
“If I did,” the omega said, “he was a nasty alpha and deserved it.”OR: Hongjoong meets Seonghwa in a prison cell. They're supposed to part the moment they've escaped, but life, as it happens, has other plans. Having a deadly omega on his ship might be the worst and best thing that ever happened to him.
