Summary
"I don't…" Robert trails off for a moment, seemingly grimacing at something in his head, "…do shows."
Chad snickers. Watching Robert fight for his life is entertaining enough to ward off the drowsiness.
Courtney materializes into sight wearing a wide grin on her face.
"Yes he does."
Robert gives Flambae a lap dance while Flambae fights for his life. That's pretty much it.

Summary
For the past 15 years, all Robert knew was how to be a hero. That meant putting others above yourself, there’s no room for Robert when Mechaman was so much more important.
But when he’s stripped of all of that, what is there left of him?
Robert rubs his knee, moving was starting to get more and more difficult. Neglecting your body for most of your life tends to do that.

Or, Robert learns how to be okay with being taken care of. (Whether he likes it or not.)

Summary
“Why’d she dump your ass?”
“Oh, you know.” Robert fidgets with his glass, index finger tracing the rim. “The usual hero shit. Hid a lot of things. Lied a lot. It’s hard to keep coming up with excuses for why I kept disappearing and came back all beat up and bleeding. Thought I was in a gang, got scared off and left.”
“So kinda like Peter Parker? Well—except clearly you weren’t charming enough to pull all that off.”
“Dick.”
“Am I wrong though? You can’t say I’m wrong.”

Summary
The moment they’re inside Chad’s loft, cut off from the world, he backs Robert up against the metal door. The thick musk of a long day sweating in his flight suit is all over Robert’s skin. Robert’s smaller, leaner, dangerous with all that fast-twitch muscle. He's always ready, always tense, reflexes waiting for a threat. Chad has to move with purpose, quickly with the little bit of opening he has. He uses his whole body to close in. Robert’s spine connects with a dull thump as Chad crowds and surrounds him. One little push is all it takes to set Robert off.
