Summary
Martin Blackwood is a reporter for The Observer newspaper. He’s a normal enough man, and he’d like to keep it that way. He doesn’t have much reason to suspect anything too far out of the ordinary when he heads down to University College Hospital on a hunch to visit the man who may or may not be dead.
The man’s name is Jonathan Sims: a failed academic by all accounts, though what he’d been doing before the explosion that threw him into a six month coma is at the mercy of baseless public speculation. Now he’s lying in an empty ward with no heartbeat, dreaming.
It seems like enough to fill a slow news day.

Summary
The books dig into his chair, and he leans his head back, eyes fluttering closed. When he breathes, it smells like the crisp air of the forest, and he thinks he should leave, or at the very least worry that this is not what he thinks, that maybe it’s the coffin, pushing back -
Instead he licks his lips and says: “Martin?”
There’s no answer, but the bookcase moves again, and for a few seconds he is utterly trapped, the desk digging into his stomach; it’s painful, it’s heavy, and he loses his breath - but these days, it’s as close as he gets to an embrace.

“Alright, listen,” Charles said, after trying not to think at all for at least five minutes. “Hear me out.”
“Any ideas?” Edwin asked, not looking up from his page.
“It’s just. What would actually happen if you cut my hand off?”
Edwin jerked his head up so fast, Charles wondered that he didn’t brain himself against the stone wall. He looked more offended than he had when he found out about the live snake in Charles’ bag.
“What the hell kind of a question is that?” He hissed.
“I’m not saying we should do it!” Charles backpedaled. “I’m just curious! These cuffs make us proper solid, don’t they? We could probably lop it off and get me out.”
“No,” said Edwin emphatically. “We are not discussing this. I don’t want you getting any ideas and chewing your own arm off like a trapped weasel.”
“Not my whole arm, just my hand.”

Will took a deep breath before closing his eyes… or rather, pretended to take a deep breath. It was difficult to keep himself calm. It felt like the spirit was doing whatever it could to make him lose control of his temper. When he opened his eyes again they seemed to be radiating a soft blue glow. Wisps started appearing around William and then began swirling around to create a portal of blinding light. The demon in William’s hands started to pale in color as if it were shifting to blue. For a moment, It was beautiful. For a moment William really thought he could help this spirit instead of hurt it.
Then the chaos demon fought back.
Or
William gets possessed by a chaos demon and Dakota and Vyncent have to figure out how to help him before it's too late.

Summary
The redhead was about to roll over and start his timer again, but he noticed something odd about William’s face. As he gazed at Vyncent, he giggled and flicked his eyes around rapidly. That was pretty normal for him, but as Dakota leaned in a little, he saw the pale skin of his friend’s face blossoming with shades of… violet? It was faint— hard to spot— but Dakota had an eye for colors. His friend’s cheeks turned a brighter shade of orchid the longer he looked at Vyncent.
William blushes purple, and Dakota and Vyncent find immense joy in flustering him

Mike looked at him unimpressed. “See you say that. You say that. But you never actually mean it.” He flung his hands out, gesturing at him. “You’re always making stupid promises that you can’t keep.”
Will gaped at him. This was ludicrous. “Name one promise that I haven’t kept!”
“You keep leaving!” Mike burst out. He practically shouted it. If the outburst took him by surprise, he didn’t show it. “Everytime I just get you back you end up leaving again. And it was fine at first, I guess. With the Upside Down and the MindFlayer. Like at least then we knew how to bring you back. But now there’s nothing taking you away but you still aren’t here. And I can’t figure out why. I’ve racked my brain trying to understand what’s going on with you but I just don’t get it! We’re supposed to be best friends but lately it’s only felt like that on my side of things.”
____The Upside Down is gone. Or so everyone keeps telling him. But Will knows the truth. You can burn all the vines and close all the gates. Summary
Charlie Martin leads a pretty shitty life. His father hates him, his mother ran away, and one of his best friends left 3 years ago, leaving him with his only other friend in a dingy town in the middle of nowhere.
It's alright, though, he can live like this, and slowly but surely Charlie settles into a routine, until that small bit of normalcy is disrupted by Mariana, his long lost friend, returning to the small town.
Charlie now has to struggle with his lingering feelings for his best friend whilst trying to remain as dignified as a 16 year old with broken glasses can be.
