Summary
“Honestly? I say lean into it.” Anathema leaned forward, twirling her straw around in her iced latte. "Who knows. Sometimes stuff is just weird or inexplicable. Ineffable! Like you said. If it really is that out of the ordinary, there's gotta be a reason, right?"
"Hey, maybe the two of you knew each other in a past life or something," Newt said blithely, his eyes once again glued to the page in front of him, red pen to paper, scratching down notes in his nigh illegible shorthand. Anthony had always wondered how his students managed to decipher it. He scoffed.
"Ha ha," he uttered dryly, reaching back into his messenger bag to finally pull out the stack of neglected exams. "Come on, Newt, I'm a scientist. You know I don't believe in any of that stuff."
Newt looked up from his work a final time, staring at Anthony in a manner that made him feel strangely exposed.
"Doesn't mean you can't be wrong, mate."

Summary
It’s not like he was cheating or anything. He was just preparing, is all. Leveling the playing field, and what have you. Despite Aziraphale’s insistence that he not get him a gift in return, this just couldn’t stand. Actually, the very fact that the angel felt he could even get away with such an egregious request showed a level of wily cheek that simply had to be thwarted. And he was a demon, after all! His whole purpose was to thwart Aziraphale’s wiles, and vice-versa.
The angel had no one to blame but himself here, really, when you truly thought about it.

Summary
Crowley was broken out of her reverie by Aziraphale’s gently admonishing voice. “Oh, Crowley, you’re making a mess. Here, let me.”
And suddenly Aziraphale’s hands were in her hair.

Summary
After three years of trying to reform Heaven from the inside, Aziraphale returns to Earth with a new crisis: the Messiah has only gone and disappeared.
Meanwhile, Crowley is counting his losses and preparing himself for the inevitable. What he isn't expecting is to end up in New York with no choice but to join forces with his old flame for what could be the last time.
What ensues is a race across a bustling city as the pair try to find Joshua before it's too late. However, Joshua has other things on his plate, such as the appearance of a young man called Adam Young who is supposed to be his adversary. All the while, angels are beginning to disappear, Archangels are being murdered, and the Book of Life mysteriously goes missing.
Can the four of them fix the system dooming the Universe before it is too late?
(My version of season 3 of Good Omens, featuring elements of the finale and the unwritten sequel book. Tags will be updated as I go.)

Summary
It was Crowley, Crowley, finally inside him, after so many centuries of wanting. It was Crowley, making him tremble and then making him come. He had more than any angel -- any mortal -- could ever have dreamed of, and it was the worst kind of avarice to want for more.
(And yet.)

Summary
The thing about stars was that people thought they were fixed. Even Anthony, who knew better, could sometimes fall into the romance of it: the sky as a pattern, the constellations as ancient furniture. But stars were never still. They burned, collapsed, and devoured themselves, making new elements in the furnace of their deaths. The steady ones only looked steady from far enough away.
Or:
Anthony mistakes Asa’s restraint as a lack of desire. Three months into their relationship, Anthony and Asa learn how to be honest with each other.

Summary
The memory isn't hazy in Aziraphale's mind; he still sees Crowley, all long lines and unguarded eyes, talking about hills in Italy covered by vines, six courses with six paired wines — a place Aziraphale would like since he was such a snob. Aziraphale had protested, of course, but the ghost of a smile lingered on his cheeks nonetheless.
He knew he'd accept. He said yes in his head the moment Crowley mentioned the wine parings (or, if he's honest with himself, the moment Crowley sat down on the settee. He'd never say anything but yes.)
