The chains on the floor rattled when he shifted to his side, breaths heavy and tears ran down the side of his face from the pain radiating all along his body. When he shifted his legs, a whimper got caught in his throat and his face morphed into a frown.
The door opening to the room he was chained in had him shaking with both anger and fear as a regally dressed woman entered wielding a whip. Her face turned in disgust when she saw his trembling form only covered by a thin and small blanket.
