Summary
Inui always had a crush on Koko but he knew nothing romantic was going to happen between them because Koko likes Akane. After the housefire, Koko started comparing Akane and Inui treating Inui like he was just a less pretty version of Akane to cope and he even went as far as to kiss him. Inui shortly started to catch feelings again. Sooner or later, he started coughing up hanahaki petals signaling the first stages of the disease, he would then start coughing up fully bloomed flowers until the roots his air passages and suffocated him to death.
