Summary
The Weasleys were not well-off. This was a given fact of their life. When their sixth and seventh child were born, they had to make a difficult choice. Percy was given up and adopted, his twin sister Ginny kept. It was a Percy Chang that arrived at Hogwarts, excited to join his big sister in Ravenclaw and unknowing that the Weasleys were his birth family. He may never have known if it hadn't been for the Chamber of Secrets business.

He was going to make them pay. And he was going to wipe Alastor’s smile from his face once and for all. And if he had to die in the process, Vox didn’t care. If he failed, he was going to bring them all down with him. No matter what.
Or having his gender revealed wasn’t in the plan, getting the attention of three men, two being his enemies wasn’t too. But it might work as well for Vox.

"Mon lapin, why are you running, huh? We can talk about this."
Vincent has made a mistake. A big mistake. He's running as fast as he can, still holding onto that tiny hope that maybe maybe he can escape. Maybe, just maybe, Alastor will let him go.
A black tendril curls around his leg and pulls. Vincent panics as he falls— only to have large clawed hands wrap swiftly around his waist, he's pulled back with effortless strength and spun back into Alastor's arms. Vincent is pressed into a broad chest, he can faintly feel vermilion claws graze his hips almost warningly.
"You know all I do is to protect you."
In which, Vox takes the hit for Alastor during his battle with Adam and dies. Consumed by madness and the realization that he did care for Vox, Alastor follows him into death—only to awaken decades earlier, at the exact moment Vox first falls into Hell as a new sinner. Armed with the knowledge of everything that will come to pass, Alastor seizes the chance to take the newly fallen Vox under his wing… and change their future.

Deciding it's finally safe to delete his memories of Alastor, Vox prepares to live, laugh, love his way at the top for the rest of eternity. Unfortunately for him, some ghosts aren't as dead as previously thought and some things are best not forgotten.

After the battle against Heaven, Vox follows Alastor into a bar. Conversation eventually turns to the Hell's Hottest Poll, and while Vox feels confident in his victory, Alastor isn't so sure.
And a bet is made.
