A masterwork of words, written in Veilfire runes.
Not only prose, not only poetry. A level of intellectualism that pierces the psyche point blank, through your eye, your heart. Your chest will blossom into an open void where there is ache, love, duty, regret. Feeling your emotions full body, tracing strings and dots and threads to completion. Heady, heavy, heartbreaking.
There is in no way, shape, or form, reason to not read this fic if you love Solas. Every facet of his form is showcased in such stark, glittering detail- it is borderline harrowing to read and process.
No one, no one captures Solas like niceasspavus.
This is the type of work one should pay to receive access to. How, how, how it delves so deeply within is a mystery.

Rook turned her attention back to Varric as they passed through the slick streets of Minrathous, the wet stone beneath their boots glistening in the faint light of streetlamps. He was rambling about Solas again, the hint of weariness in his voice almost drowned out by the stubborn optimism he carried like armor.
"Do you think you'll actually be able to talk him down?" Rook asked, though her tone suggested she already knew the answer.
Varric smirked but didn't meet her gaze. "Let's just say I've got my work cut out for me."
She didn't believe he could, not entirely. But she wasn't about to tell him that.
