Two trials down, who knows how many more to go.
While everyone is grappling with the aftermath of the first real trial and the first execution, distrust is slowly beginning to build up amongst the class. Damon, struggling to cope with the betrayal of knowing the only person he thought he could trust had killed, takes comfort in knowing his roommate, Kai, is probably too stupid to kill him.
Kai, on the other hand, isn't as stupid as Damon thinks. He can read him like a book; he's falling in love with Kai and doesn't even know it. When everyone else is turning their back on him, he takes comfort in knowing that Damon isn't going anywhere.
