The sound of a cawing bird draws Ashton’s attention and they focus on that as the world mercifully settles around them. The bird, large and black, (a raven, not a crow. It had been Orym that had taught Ashton the difference) caws again, hopping over to a small shape in the snow nearby. Green armor. Brown hair. Red blood.

Mollymauk Tealeaf wakes up on the side of Glory Run Road one night in the rain. They don't remember anything. All they know to do is get away from the place that they don't even remember to be their own grave.
Fortunately, they make a new friend to save them from being cold and alone again. That new friend - a kind old man with a hummingbird - helps Molly orient themself, helps them remember that they have people waiting, and helps Molly make a plan to get back to them.
And so Molly sets off on a journey of their own, accompanied by the various reserve members of the Mighty Nein. Along the way, they learn more about the good they've done for their friends and about the good their friends have done for the world while they've been gone. Along the way, Mollymauk Tealeaf dances and dreams and celebrates and eventually remembers what's important about themself.

Ace stares back at him for a moment, before leaning his head back against the cell wall and smiling. Memories of him, Luffy, and Sabo running through the forest flash before his eyes, and nostalgia fills him. The months that the three of them spent together are Ace’s most treasured memories.
He grins, shaking his head and chuckling as he says, “Well, I guess if I’m going to talk about him as a kid, I should talk about my twin first.”

The light overhead isn't from Minion island's overcast sky but instead a steel plated ceiling shining down fluorescence, glass and plastic bottles rattling on shelves against the walls. Everywhere there's monitors and familiar machinery and the distinct tang of antiseptic, sharp beyond the memory sense of blood and snow. For half a second Law looks at it all very blankly and thinks, What The Hell. Is he dreaming. Is he hallucinating. Is he just plain dead. His sight-line completes the rotation of this impossibility to fall upon speckled jeans and a long sweeping coat. And the man standing in front of Law has the blankest expression Law's ever seen. And the man standing in front of Law has Law's father's face.
Underneath Law's blood-slicked fingers, Cora-san's pulse shudders.
(This is a story where the past and the present collide. Wherein thirteen year old Trafalgar Law and twenty-six year old Rocinante tumble sideways through time-space via the blue desperation of a newly eaten devil fruit, from Minion island to a future distant.
